Jared Thompson

Jared Thompson, Attorney at Law, was born and raised in Bakersfield, CA. During summers in college, Mr. Thompson would return to Bakersfield to work in the oil fields and various other jobs -- including work in community high schools. He uses this background and familiarity with the people of Kern County daily to understand and relate to his clients as well as the dynamics of Kern County's law community.

Shortly after completing his studies in law school, Mr. Thompson worked at the Kern County District Attorney’s Office as a law clerk for a short time before joining Kyle J. Humphrey's team in 2008. During his tenure at the Law Offices of Kyle J. Humphrey, Mr. Thompson has had the benefit and experience of working for an excellent trial attorney. Mr. Thompson has worked hands-on in the preparation of several serious felony trials of Mr. Humphrey’s and has learned the process of successful trial preparation and advocacy. His experience and knowledge is put to use daily to protect the rights and liberty of the individual against the government, corporate America, and the ever-growing bureaucracy his clients face.

Mr. Thompson believes that every person should be given a voice when it comes to confronting the state, the insurance company, or the corporation. A person need not bow down to the powers that be. It is each individuals’ right to stand up and insist on fair treatment. Mr. Thompson fights to achieve justice for his clients and to ensure that rights of the individual are preserved and respected.
