Mr. Thompson recently volunteered with other attorneys to help people with a criminal history clear their records for a brighter future. The Expungement Clinic is an annual event where attorneys donate their time to help community members dismiss or seal their prior convictions and cases. The process of expunging old convictions and sealing old arrest information allows these individuals much better opportunities at employment, housing, and financial services. At Humphrey & Thompson, we are supportive of any person who has paid their debt to society and wants to pursue legitimate interests to better themselves. The Expungement Clinic, and the ability to dismiss and seal a person's criminal past, improves individual lives and our community as a whole.
